CastTV ("the app") accesses, what it stores, and why.
By using the app you agree to the practices below.

1. WHO WE ARE

CastTV is a screen mirroring and casting app that lets
you send videos, photos, music, websites and your phone
screen to Chromecast, Google TV and DLNA devices on
your home network.

2. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

CastTV does NOT collect personal data.
• There is no sign-up and no account.
• There is no analytics, tracking or advertising
identifier collection done by the app itself.
• We do not sell, rent or share your personal
information with anyone.

3. WHAT DATA IS STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

The only information the app stores on your phone is
your local preferences:
• The language you chose.
• Whether haptic feedback is on or off.
This is stored on your device only (SharedPreferences)
and is never sent anywhere.

4. WHAT WE ACCESS AND WHY (PERMISSIONS)
-----------------------------------------------------
CastTV needs a few permissions to work. They are only
used for the casting functions you request:
• Wi-Fi and network access — to find and connect to
your TV on the same network.
• Nearby Wi-Fi devices — to discover casting devices
around you.
• Location — used only to scan for nearby devices;
your location is never stored or shared.
• Photos, videos and audio access — to pick the media
you want to cast.
• Screen capture permission (Android) — used ONLY
when you start screen mirroring.
• Notifications — to show casting status such as
"now playing" or mirroring is active.
• Foreground service — to keep casting running
smoothly while the app is in the background.

5. CASTING AND YOUR LOCAL NETWORK

When you cast, CastTV streams your chosen media from
your phone to your TV over your home Wi-Fi network.
The media is sent directly from your phone to the TV
on your local network and is NOT uploaded to the
internet or to our servers.

6. ADVERTISING
-----------------------------------------------------
The app shows ads to keep the core casting features
free. Ads are provided by Google AdMob.
• Google may collect certain information (such as
device information, approximate location and ad
interactions) to serve and measure ads.
• You can control personalized ads at any time by
changing your ad personalization settings, or opt
out of personalized advertising entirely.

• In the European Economic Area, the UK and
Switzerland, an ad consent screen may be shown
before personalized ads are served, and you can
choose what is used.
Ad formats used in the app:
• Banner ads (small strip at the bottom of the home
screen).
• Native ads (card inside the Settings screen).
• Interstitial ads (full-screen ad before some
casting screens).
• App open ads (shown when the app is opened).
• Rewarded ads (optional — watching may unlock
something, like continuing with mirroring).

7. IN-APP PURCHASES

A Premium subscription may be added in a future
update. When purchases are available, they will be
handled through the official app stores (Google Play /
Apple App Store), and the stores will manage the
payments and billing. CastTV does not collect your
payment details.

8. CHILDREN

CastTV does not knowingly collect any personal
information from children. If you believe a child has
provided personal information through the app, please
stop using the app and contact us so the data can be
removed.

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The app may open websites or services such as YouTube
inside its built-in browser. When you use those
services, their own privacy policies apply. We
recommend you review them.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. When we
do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top
of this page. Continued use of the app after changes
means you accept the updated policy.
